Bible Studies for preteens are a great first in-depth Bible Study for this age-group. They were created because I wanted my own preteen to study God’s Word using her own Bible. I didn’t want her to just read someone’s interpretation of the Scripture, which is what I found in many devotionals for her age-group. After all, God’s Word is active and can speak directly to her. So, the Bible studies were born! I have a hard time keeping up with her. But, I’m writing new ones all the time! After breakfast, this is the first thing she does in the morning. I recommend buying your preteen a cool pen (maybe one that writes pink) to use with these studies.
Bible Studies for preteens take the readers through a portion of the Bible, leaving them with a feeling of success and training them in how to study their own Bibles. The reading passages are divided into manageable and content appropriate chunks. Each Bible study includes word checks with definitions to aid in understanding and relevant and thoughtful questions throughout. Short answer verses long writing assignments makes this study fun and not overwhelming.
These Bible studies are meant to help your preteen grow deeper roots by studying God’s Word.
Colossians 2:6-7, “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.”
It takes just one or two weeks to complete each Bible Study.
Along with the Esther study (shown above), here are the other titles in this series with more on the way!
(Job is for girls OR boys! I’m also working on Nehemiah.)
